- A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.
Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.
The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.

Arsenal is the favorite to win the Premier League title for the 2026/27 season according to projections from the Opta Analyst supercomputer. Based on 10,000 simulations, the London club has a 38% probability of winning consecutive titles after ending a 22 year drought in the 2025/26 season. This would mark the first time the club has won back to back titles since the 1930s.
Mikel Arteta's side recently won the English Super Cup with a 3 to 0 victory over Manchester City. The team's primary new signing is midfielder Bruno Guimarães from Newcastle for approximately 87.5 million euros. Other additions include defender Piero Hincapié and winger Christos Tzolis, both costing 40 million euros each. Arsenal begins its league campaign on Friday, August 21, against Coventry City.
Manchester City and Liverpool are the next closest contenders with probabilities of 20.5% and 9.2% respectively. Both clubs are entering the season with new managers. Enzo Maresca takes over at Manchester City, while Andoni Iraola leads Liverpool. City's major investment was midfielder Elliot Anderson for 135 million euros, and Liverpool signed defender Jérémy Jacquet for 63.6 million euros.
Manchester United is ranked as the fourth strongest force with a 6.2% chance of winning. Under manager Michael Carrick, the club finished third last season. Their key signings include Andrey Santos for 56.3 million euros and Youri Tielemans for 41 million euros.
