- A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.
Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.

French tennis player Arthur Fils won the Cincinnati Masters 1000 on Sunday, defeating American Frances Tiafoe with a score of 6-3, 1-6, 6-0. The 22 year old athlete secured the most significant title of his career, marking the first time a French player has won a Masters 1000 tournament since Jo Wilfried Tsonga in 2014. Fils is also the second Frenchman to win the Cincinnati event, following Guy Forget in 1991. Following this victory, Fils is expected to rise from 21st to 11th in the ATP rankings just one week before the start of the US Open. During the tournament, Fils defeated top 10 players Alex De Minaur and Flavio Cobolli. The final match was characterized by significant momentum shifts, with Fils dominating the first and third sets while Tiafoe took the second. Fils noted that he lost concentration in the second set but recovered after a bathroom break to regain his level. The victory comes after a period of injury for Fils, including a stress fracture in his back and a hip injury that forced him to miss the French Open. He now holds a career high ranking of 11 and is ranked fifth in the ATP race to Turin. The final was also noted as a historic occasion because it was the first ATP Masters 1000 final played between two black players.
