The Brazilian electoral courts have announced the distribution of free radio and television airtime for candidates in the upcoming elections, with broadcasts scheduled to begin on August 28. In the race for the government of São Paulo, the Regional Electoral Court of São Paulo (TRE-SP) assigned Tarcísio de Freitas 6 minutes and 20 seconds of propaganda time, which is double the 2 minutes and 40 seconds allocated to Fernando Haddad. This disparity is attributed to the size of their respective party alliances. For the Senate race in São Paulo, candidates from Tarcísio's coalition received 4 minutes and 24 seconds, while Simone Tebet and Marina Silva from Haddad's coalition received 1 minute and 45 seconds.
