- A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.
Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.
The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.

Several high profile candidates for the 2026 elections have filed their mandatory asset declarations with the Superior Electoral Court (TSE). President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva reported assets of 4.77 million reais, a decrease from the 7.42 million reais he declared in 2022. This reduction is primarily attributed to a drop in the value of his private pension plans. Lula also submitted a government plan that includes proposals to end the 6x1 work shift and create a Ministry of Public Security. His running mate, Geraldo Alckmin, reported assets of 3.3 million reais, which is an increase from his 2022 declaration.
In the race for the presidency, Romeu Zema of the Novo party declared 178.7 million reais in assets, representing a 37.7 percent increase since 2022. His running mate, Eduardo Girão, reported 34.1 million reais, a slight decrease from his 2018 filing. Other presidential candidates who have registered include Renan Santos with 795,000 reais and Samara Martins with 33,000 reais.
At the state level, São Paulo Governor Tarcísio de Freitas declared assets of approximately 2.7 million reais, which is slightly higher than his 2022 filing. His running mate, Felício Ramuth, declared 2.981 million reais. Reports indicate that Ramuth and his wife have been investigated for alleged money laundering in Andorra, though Ramuth stated that the account in question belongs exclusively to his wife and is not part of his personal declaration.
Additionally, Sirlange Manga, the first lady of Sorocaba running for deputy, reported assets of 1.9 million reais, an increase of 164 percent since 2022. Her campaign later stated that a mistake was made in the filing regarding a financed property and that the value would be corrected. Manga and her husband, Rodrigo Manga, have previously denied allegations of corruption and embezzlement brought by the Federal Public Ministry.
