- A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.
Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.

The death toll from devastating flash floods in Nepal has risen to 469 people. According to the Nepal Police, casualties were recorded across several districts: 178 in Chitwan, 110 in Nawalparasi Bardaghat Purba, 44 in Gorkha, 37 in Nuwakot, 33 in Dhading, 28 in Tanahun, 28 in Nawalparasi Bardaghat Paschim, and 12 in Rasuwa. Additionally, 28 police officers remain missing. In a related disaster on the border between China and Nepal, a mudslide in the Gyirong county of Tibet led to the evacuation of 555 stranded tourists. Chinese state media reported that 499 local residents from various villages and a construction crew were also relocated. Rescue operations in Tibet were suspended due to the high risk of new floods after a lake formed by debris began to overflow toward rescue teams. Emergency crews already in the area were ordered to withdraw by one kilometer.
