- A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.
Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.
The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.

Investigators have discovered DNA on a drone that was secured at Leipzig/Halle Airport on the night of August 5. The drone was found to be loaded with explosives. According to reports from Bild and Zeit, the DNA matches traces found after a fire attack on a DHL logistics center in Leipzig on July 20, 2024. One source further notes that the DNA was previously registered in Lithuania. While the DNA has been linked to the previous attack, it has not yet been assigned to a specific person.
Video footage from the airport indicates that the drone targeted a Ukrainian Antonov cargo plane around 7:30 p.m. last Tuesday. The object struck the wing of the aircraft and fell to the ground without detonating. Because fuel tanks are located in the wings, an explosion would have caused significant damage. The reason why the device failed to detonate remains unclear.
