Duane Davis, known as Keffe D, is facing trial in Las Vegas for the murder of rap artist Tupac Shakur. Davis, a 63 year old former gang leader, is the only suspect ever charged in the September 7, 1996, drive by shooting. He is accused of murder with a deadly weapon with the intent to promote or assist a criminal gang. Davis has pleaded not guilty and maintains his innocence, stating he has never killed anyone.
