Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.

Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.

The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.

Every outlet covering this story shares the same political lean; read with that in mind.

More than 300 personnel are working to control forest fires across four municipalities in the Tolima department: San Luis, Suárez, Coello, and Guamo. Interior Minister Rodrigo Lara reported that the operation includes 182 firefighters from various regions of Colombia, supported by the National Army, the National Police, and the Colombian Aerospace Force. High temperatures and strong winds have complicated the efforts, leading authorities to request continued aerial support during both day and night.

While the national government stated that the fires are generally under control and that no infrastructure losses had been recorded at the time of their balance, specific emergencies have occurred in the municipality of Coello. In the rural area of Chagualá Afuera, a fire that was previously controlled flared up again on Sunday. This reactivation forced at least eight peasant families to evacuate their homes and seek shelter in a residence near Ibagué. Local residents expressed fear of sleeping due to the risk of further reactivations caused by strong winds.

In response to the situation, the Interior Minister announced that the Military Forces will increase controls to identify and stop those who may be intentionally provoking the fires.
