Lean is where the outlet sits in its OWN country's politics, never on one global scale.

Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.

The first edition of the Pinti Awards, created by the Argentine Association of Theater and Musical Entrepreneurs (AADET), took place this Monday at the Teatro Colón to recognize excellence in Buenos Aires' commercial theater. Hosted by Agustín “Rada” Aristarán and broadcast live on eltrece, the ceremony honored productions that ran between August 2025 and July 2026. The awards were determined by a jury of 25 specialists, including critics, journalists, and cultural figures.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory emerged as a major winner, taking home awards for Best Musical, most attended musical, best direction, and best actor in a musical for Agustín Aristarán. Rocky was recognized as the drama with the highest attendance and won awards for best production and best lighting, music, or original sound. Other notable wins included Hairspray for choreography and costume design, while Lo que el río hace was named Best National Authorship work. The public's favorite show was Annie.

The event also featured Lifetime Achievement Awards honoring Moria Casán for female acting, Guillermo Francella for male acting, and Carlos Rottemberg for production. A special tribute to the late Enrique Pinti was performed through his signature song “Quedan los artistas,” featuring Rada and other theater figures.

From a broadcasting perspective, the event's red carpet began at 9:00 p.m., followed by the main gala. While the broadcast maintained a presence in the ratings, it competed for viewership with other prime-time programming; specifically, Telefe's Gran Hermano led the night's ratings during its elimination gala, while Pasapalabra also held a leading position earlier in the evening.
