Flávio Bolsonaro Campaigns in Angra dos Reis with Focus on Energy and Infrastructure

Presidential candidate Flávio Bolsonaro of the Liberal Party (PL) held campaign events in Angra dos Reis on Saturday, including a motorcycle rally and a boat parade. Beyond local infrastructure, Bolsonaro supported the exploration of oil and gas in the mouth of the Amazon River. He also discussed his choice of Cláudio Lottenberg as a potential health minister, stating he wants to bring the standard of the Albert Einstein Hospital to the Unified Health System (SUS). When questioned about Lottenberg's past criticisms of Jair Bolsonaro's pandemic management, the candidate declined to discuss the past and focused on future goals.

During the boat parade, a collision occurred between a vessel and a Fire Department jet ski. Two military personnel had to jump into the water to avoid impact; they were rescued by colleagues and reported no injuries. The event was attended by several other PL candidates, including Douglas Ruas for Governor of Rio de Janeiro and Alfredo Gaspar for Vice President.
