Former Tagesschau moderator Constantin Schreiber is leaving the Axel Springer media house at the end of the year. The journalist announced his departure in videos posted to Instagram and YouTube, stating that he decided some time ago to pursue new paths and focus on his own projects. A spokesperson for Axel Springer confirmed that the cooperation will end on December 31.
Schreiber spent less than one year with the media group, during which he reported from New York and Tel Aviv on international hotspots and the Middle East. In April, it was announced that he would work from Germany for family reasons while focusing more on podcast formats. Schreiber stated that he will take on a new role in 2027.
