- A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.
Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.
The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.
At least three civilians were injured following a series of attacks across 21 districts in the southernmost provinces of Thailand. Authorities are currently compiling a full casualty count due to the scale of the incidents, though the wounded are reported to be recovering. The blasts were loud enough to be heard and felt in nearby Malaysian villages, where residents described the noise as similar to a lightning storm and reported their houses shaking. This region has been the site of a low level conflict since 2004, resulting in more than 7,000 deaths as rebels in the Muslim majority provinces seek more autonomy from the Buddhist majority nation.
