Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.

Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.

Israel's National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir stated in a podcast interview that Israeli forces should carry out targeted assassinations of 30 to 40 people every night in the Gaza Strip. Speaking with former hostage Rom Braslavski, Ben Gvir argued that these killings should not be limited to those who pose an immediate threat, asserting that some people in Gaza are not worthy of life and are not even people. Ben Gvir also advocated for the mass emigration of Palestinians and the establishment of Israeli settlements throughout the entire Gaza Strip, including areas beyond the former Gush Katif bloc. During the interview, Ben Gvir expressed disagreement with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's recent decision to scale back military operations in Gaza. He further promised Braslavski that he would do everything possible to allow the former captive to personally execute Palestinian prisoners convicted of terrorism. While Ben Gvir is a member of the security cabinet and oversees the police and prison systems, multiple reports note that he does not have formal authority over the military and cannot personally order strikes. The remarks come amid ongoing international scrutiny and accusations of genocide against Israel, which the Israeli government denies. In the podcast, Braslavski requested the opportunity to hang or shoot terrorists with his own hands, a request Ben Gvir described as one of his greatest dreams.
