Nearly 200 people, including 65 minors, have been displaced from rural areas in Ituango, Antioquia. Families from at least five villages, including La Filadelfia in the corregimiento of El Aro, have sought refuge in urban shelters. The Antioquia government has announced an offensive in the region to address the resulting humanitarian crisis. While the Defensoría attributed the flight of the population to recent combat between the Clan del Golfo and Farc dissidents, the Army told El Espectador that no disputes were recorded in the area on the day the displacement began. Intelligence reports suggest that men from the 18th front of Mordisco may have displaced the residents and pressured them to falsely claim the Clan del Golfo was responsible.
