Lean is where the outlet sits in its OWN country's politics, never on one global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has announced that the company is betting on personal AI agents as the next major product category following coding assistants. During the Q2FY26 earnings call, Zuckerberg stated that these agents are intended to work 24/7 on behalf of billions of people to help them achieve goals regarding their health, finances, and relationships.
WhatsApp will serve as the primary interface for these personal AI agents. To enhance privacy, Meta launched Incognito Mode on WhatsApp and the Meta AI app, allowing users to have private conversations that Meta cannot see. Zuckerberg emphasized that strong privacy and security will be fundamental parts of the agent development process.
Meta is also expanding its enterprise AI offerings through Meta Business Agents, which are now available globally on WhatsApp and Messenger. More than 1 million businesses currently use these agents weekly to communicate with customers or complete sales. The company's long term goal is to create a business in a box service that enables users to start and run an entire business using Meta platforms.
Additionally, the company is integrating large language models into its recommender systems for Facebook and Instagram. Chief Financial Officer Susan Li noted that every public Reels and Feed post on Instagram is now automatically processed through an LLM to analyze topics and tone before being fed into ranking and content policy enforcement. These technical updates coincided with double digit growth in time spent on Instagram and a 9 percent increase in global time spent on Facebook video. To support these initiatives, Meta is investing aggressively in compute capacity.
