  • A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.

Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.

Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.

The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.

Migrant women in Spain's North African enclave of Ceuta have reported experiencing sexual harassment while waiting to be registered. Some women have established a makeshift camp on a wooded roadside near the government run migrant reception centre, where they report being afraid to sleep at night due to attacks from men staying in the vicinity. Local authorities state that the reception facility is currently sheltering about 700 people, which is 200 more than its capacity. Between 5,000 and 8,000 people remain in the enclave following a deadly border surge on July 30 in which 72,000 people crossed from Morocco. While most of those who crossed were young men, a significant number of women and children were also involved.
