Mother of Girl Who Abused PM Modi Expresses Gratitude After Prime Minister's Forgiveness

The mother of a girl who allegedly used abusive language against Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a protest at Jantar Mantar has thanked the Prime Minister for forgiving her daughter. The girl, who is claimed by her mother to be 15 years old, was captured in a viral video during a protest led by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP). The mother stated that the Prime Minister's forgiveness has given her daughter a new life and a second chance. This follows a video message from PM Modi in which he stated that he forgives the children who abused him and his late mother, noting that punishing them would not change the circumstances.

In a separate apology video, the girl stated that she was influenced by groups at the protest site and called the incident her first and last mistake. Despite the apology, a zero FIR was filed against her in Noida and later transferred to the Parliament Street Police Station in New Delhi. The complainant alleged that her remarks insulted the office of the prime minister and could disturb public peace. There is a discrepancy regarding the girl's age; while the FIR lists her birth year as 1994, her mother asserts she is a minor.

The girl's mother further requested that PM Modi ban Facebook and Instagram for children under 20 years of age, arguing that children are taken advantage of at such protests. Meanwhile, CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke questioned whether the Prime Minister's forgiveness would extend to withdrawing the legal cases or if it was merely for a social media reel.
