Myanmar President Min Aung Hlaing to Visit Thailand

Myanmar President Min Aung Hlaing is scheduled to arrive in Thailand on Thursday for a two day visit. He will be welcomed by Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul with an official ceremony and military honour guard inspection at Government House. The visit includes private and full delegation talks, the signing of memorandums of understanding, and the opening of the Thailand Myanmar Business Forum 2026. This approach follows a recent meeting between detained former leader Aung San Suu Kyi and a representative of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
