- A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.
Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.
The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on Sunday that Israel rejects the 15-point roadmap for Gaza proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump's Board of Peace. During a cabinet meeting, Netanyahu stated that the Israel Defense Forces will not carry out any withdrawal from the enclave until Hamas is genuinely disarmed, including the surrender of all heavy and light weaponry. He further asserted that no Palestinian state will be established in Gaza or the West Bank as long as he remains prime minister.
The plan, which was announced in late July, proposed a process where Hamas would surrender weapons to a U.S. backed Palestinian technocratic committee. In exchange, Israel would withdraw its military forces. While the Board of Peace later revised its wording to suggest withdrawal would occur after disarmament was completed, Netanyahu maintained that the current terms are unacceptable. He noted that Israel is in discussions with U.S. officials, stating that some American ideas are acceptable while others are not.
Hamas has expressed its commitment to the roadmap and called on the United States and other mediators to pressure the Israeli government to adhere to the agreement. Hamas officials stated that their agreement to the plan was intended to spare the people of Gaza from a resumption of war, though they noted that implementation depends on Israel meeting its own commitments, including withdrawal.
Netanyahu's public rejection comes amid domestic political pressure. Several reports indicate he is facing pushback from right-wing coalition members and is seeking re-election in an October 27 vote. Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich praised the decision, arguing that the roadmap contradicted the goal of destroying Hamas. Despite the disagreement over Gaza, Netanyahu expressed appreciation for his partnership with President Trump, particularly regarding the goal of preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons.
