- A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.
Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.
The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.

The media regulator Ofcom has launched an investigation into Sky News following complaints of harassment and privacy infringement made by Reform UK leader Nigel Farage. The investigation follows allegations that Sky News reporters approached a home where Farage's adult daughter lives while Farage was out of the country.
Farage stated on social media that he was appalled by the treatment of his family. He previously told a Sky News reporter that there would be serious consequences if his family continued to be harassed. Reform UK filed the official complaint, alleging that the broadcaster's reporting presented Farage as a liar and omitted critical context.
Sky News has denied interacting with Farage's daughter. The broadcaster stated that it was outside a property where Farage was registered to vote during the last election in an effort to ask him about a 5 million pound gift he received from cryptocurrency investor Christopher Harborne. Sky News described this as a routine journalistic practice regarding matters of legitimate public interest and asserted that footage shows they did not hound Farage's daughter.
Ofcom has not commented on the specifics of the investigation but noted that it typically aims to conclude fairness and privacy complaints within 90 working days. A parliamentary standards investigation into the gift received by Farage has also resumed following his re-election as MP for Clacton.
