The Netflix original romantic comedy series Our Sticky Love reached the top of the global non-English TV chart for the tracking week ending Sunday. The show accumulated 7.5 million views and ranked No. 1 in 26 countries, including South Korea, Brazil, Indonesia, and Singapore, while appearing in the top 10 in 68 countries. The series stars Jung Hae-in as Jang Tae-ha, a boxing coach, and Ha Young (also referred to as Ahn Ha-young) as Go Eun-sae, an ambitious prosecutor with memory loss.
The show's success coincides with a controversy involving Ha Young. She faced backlash over allegations that her great-grandfather was involved in pro-Japanese activities during Japan's colonial rule of Korea from 1910 to 1945.
