PM Modi Announces Free Online Coaching and AI Training in Independence Day Address

Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the provision of free online coaching for competitive examinations and AI training for 10 million youth during his Independence Day speech at the Red Fort. The Prime Minister stated that the government will leverage digital public infrastructure and talented educators to create this network, aiming to reduce the financial burden on poor and middle class families. He further pledged that 1 crore youth will receive AI skill training within the next year to help India lead in the domain of artificial intelligence.

Beyond youth initiatives, the Prime Minister outlined seven key reform areas for a Viksit Bharat. These include becoming a global supply chain hub for manufacturing, improving food production and processing, advancing technology and innovation, enhancing connectivity through Gatishakti, strengthening defence measures, developing the green and blue economies, and promoting soft power through yoga and tourism. He also urged the youth to participate in the national Census 2027, noting that accurate data is essential for shaping development policies.

In a separate segment of his address, PM Modi discussed internal security, asserting that Maoist violence is in its final stages. He called for the identification and isolation of those with a Naxal mentality, whom he referred to as dimagi Naxals, claiming such thinking had previously influenced government policies from within power corridors.
