  • A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.

Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.

Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.

The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.

The 2026 Senate elections in São Paulo are seeing significant shifts in candidate lineups and financial disclosures. André do Prado, the president of the Legislative Assembly of São Paulo (Alesp) and a member of the Liberal Party (PL), has registered his candidacy for the Senate. In his filing with the Superior Electoral Court (TSE), Prado declared assets totaling 692,600 reais, which represents an 81 percent increase compared to his 2022 declaration of 381,800 reais. His campaign is supported by the Bolsonaro family and includes former Holambra mayor Fernando Godoy and councilwoman Rute Costa as substitutes. Notably, Eduardo Bolsonaro previously considered a substitute for Prado has withdrawn from the ticket.
