Political Uncertainty Mounts Ahead of Saxony Anhalt State Elections

Several political parties are facing uncertain prospects ahead of the upcoming state elections in Saxony Anhalt. Sahra Wagenknecht has indicated that the BSW would abstain from a vote for a Minister President if other parties do not agree to a non partisan candidate. This stance could potentially facilitate the election of the AfD candidate, Ulrich Siegmund, in a third round of voting where only a majority of cast votes is required.
