A Russian ballistic missile attack struck the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv early Saturday morning, resulting in multiple casualties and widespread damage. While initial reports from the city's mayor, Vitali Klitschko, stated that at least three people were killed and 15 were injured, Ukrainian emergency services later revised the death toll upward to nine people killed and 23 to 29 injured.
