A Russian drone strike on an ammunition warehouse in the village of Myla, located west of Kyiv, has left at least 38 people dead and dozens more injured. The attack occurred around 8:10 p.m. on August 28, triggering massive explosions and fires that damaged over 300 buildings, including a care facility for elderly and disabled people. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy described the situation as a result of horrific negligence, stating that ammunition should not have been stored so close to residential areas. Ukrainian prosecutors have opened a criminal investigation into the legality of the storage site.
