Senate President Honorio Henríquez Calls for Unity and Reform at Presidential Inauguration

Senate President Honorio Henríquez delivered a speech during the inauguration of President Abelardo de la Espriella, emphasizing the need for the new government to address critical national issues. Henríquez identified the devastation of the health system and widespread corruption as urgent problems that require immediate solutions. He called for the consolidation of a fraternal economy and the eradication of corruption while urging the government to avoid social agitation. Specifically, he rejected calls for civil disobedience made by the Pacto Histórico.
