A Spanish F-18 fighter jet on a NATO air policing mission shot down a drone on Sunday after it illegally entered Romanian airspace. The drone was detected by radar at approximately 4:44 a.m. entering from Moldova and was shot down at 5:01 a.m. over the Galati region.
