  • A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.

Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.

Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.

The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.

A student opened fire at Debsirin Nonthaburi School in the Bang Kruai district, north of Bangkok, on Friday. The attack left one teacher dead and four other people injured, including three students, according to police. Lieutenant Colonel Dechrapee Kongdee, the Nonthaburi Provincial Police Commander, confirmed that the suspected gunman committed suicide following the shooting. One 18 year old student told Reuters that he initially thought the sounds were firecrackers or someone banging an object before realizing it was a gun. Emergency responders shared photos of students leaving the school while ambulances treated the wounded. District authorities stated that the school had approximately 3,100 students and 147 teachers enrolled for the 2025 academic year. While most reports cite four injuries, some local media reports cited by other outlets claimed as many as 10 to 15 people were wounded. This incident follows other recent violence in Thai schools, including a shooting in the Hat Yai district in February that killed a teacher and a 2022 massacre by a former police officer in Nong Bua Lamphu province.
