Suspected Crime Boss Daniel Kinahan Extradited to Ireland from Dubai

Daniel Kinahan, a suspected leader of a major international criminal organization, has been extradited from the United Arab Emirates to Ireland. Kinahan, 49, appeared before a special non-jury court in Dublin where he was charged with directing the activities of a criminal organization between October 18, 2015, and April 6, 2017. He is currently being held in remand at Portlaoise, a high-security prison, until his next court appearance on October 5. Kinahan has denied all charges against him.
