- A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.
Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.
The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.
Slovenian cyclist Tadej Pogacar won the opening individual time trial of the 81st Vuelta a España, claiming the leader's red jersey. Pogacar completed the 9.4 kilometer technical course through Monaco, where he resides, in 10 minutes and 57 seconds. He won by a margin of 0.09 seconds over Britain's Ethan Hayter. Joshua Tarling finished in third place, four seconds behind the leaders. Tarling competed following the recent death of his 19 year old brother, Finlay, who died in a road accident during the Tour of Portugal. Pogacar expressed his support for Tarling, stating that he had been rooting for the Briton to win. A victory in the Vuelta would mark the first time Pogacar has won this specific race, allowing him to complete a career Grand Tour treble. He previously won the Giro d'Italia and the Tour de France five times. The race continues with a 214.3 kilometer stage from Monaco to Manosque in France. Additionally, Pogacar's teammate Isaac del Toro reclaimed the blue jersey as the overall leader of the Deutschland Tour during a stage in Bad Dürkheim.
