Taiwan's Ministry of Justice Investigation Bureau is investigating 17 Chinese funded companies suspected of illegally poaching high tech talent. According to investigators, these firms allegedly concealed the identities of their Chinese financial backers while establishing unauthorized operations to recruit Taiwanese professionals. The operation involved more than 300 investigators who searched 64 locations and interviewed 114 people in recent weeks.
