São Paulo Governor Tarcísio de Freitas has presented a government plan for a potential second term that emphasizes social services and infrastructure investment. The plan, organized as a prosperity trail from childhood to longevity, outlines ten strategic objectives including health, education, security, and sustainability. He stated that the goal is to universalize sanitation in 371 municipalities by 2029, which he argues is essential for the depollution of the Tietê and Pinheiros rivers and for overall water security during droughts.
