Three men aged 39, 44, and 54 were killed on Saturday morning during a stabbing attack at a Bombril factory in the Rudge Ramos neighborhood of São Bernardo do Campo. The suspect, a 33 year old outsourced worker, allegedly attacked the victims around 5:50 a.m. Police reports indicate that the suspect may have been on his day off when he arrived at the facility to commit the crime. According to the police investigation and witness statements, the suspect had been a victim of bullying by two of the victims; a third employee was killed while attempting to intervene in the attack. The suspect was arrested at the factory and taken to the 2nd Police District of São Bernardo do Campo, where he subsequently died in custody. The Secretary of Public Security stated that the Civil Police Internal Affairs office is investigating the circumstances of the death in the cell. Bombril released a statement repudiating the act and stating that they are providing assistance to the victims' families and cooperating with the homicide investigation.
