General Dan Caine, the US Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, has privately stated that military options to intensify the conflict with Iran may be insufficient to achieve President Donald Trump's stated goals. According to sources cited by CNN Brasil, Caine has been seeking a way out of the war, arguing that air power alone is likely inadequate and that further escalation could backfire.
