Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.

Every outlet covering this story shares the same political lean; read with that in mind.
A bomb planted in a minibus killed two people and wounded 14 others on the outskirts of Damascus, Syria, on Thursday night. Syrian officials reported that the blast occurred in Jaramana, a predominantly Druze area. A security source speaking to state run Ekhbariya TV stated that preliminary information indicates an explosive device was planted on the vehicle. Footage from the scene showed the remains of a white minibus being removed from the site. Witnesses described the explosion as a strong, unnatural sound, and one relative of an injured person called the attack sadistic and wicked. The incident took place on a narrow street characterized by shops and street vendors. A separate United Nations investigation from March noted that over 1,700 people, primarily from the Druze and Bedouin communities, were killed in the southern Sweida province in July 2025, with potential war crimes attributed to Syrian government forces, tribal fighters, and Druze armed groups.
