Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.

Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.

The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.

The UEFA Champions League has completed the draw for its league phase in Monaco. Defending champions Paris Saint-Germain will face Barcelona and Manchester City. Each of the 36 teams in the league phase will play eight different opponents, consisting of four home games and four away games. The top eight teams will qualify directly for the round of 16. Teams finishing between ninth and 24th place will enter a playoff stage to determine the remaining eight spots in the round of 16. Teams finishing 25th or lower will be eliminated from the competition. The league phase is set to begin on September 8. The final will take place on June 5, 2027, at the Estadio Metropolitano in Madrid.
