- A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.
Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.
The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.

Actor Noel Clarke has been charged with six sexual offences including two counts of sexual assault, three counts of voyeurism, and one count of exposure. The charges relate to allegations made by five women regarding incidents that allegedly took place between 2007 and 2016. Clarke, 50, is known for his work as an actor, writer, producer, and director, specifically for his roles in Doctor Who and Kidulthood.
The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) authorized the Metropolitan Police to bring the charges following an investigation that began in September 2025. Bethan David, the deputy chief crown prosecutor for London, stated that prosecutors established sufficient evidence to bring the case to court and determined it was in the public interest to do so. David also reminded the public that Clarke has the right to a fair trial and urged against online commentary that could prejudice the proceedings.
Clarke is scheduled to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on 21 October at 10:00 BST. Detective Superintendent Mike Cagney, who is leading the investigation, stated that the women involved are receiving support from specially trained officers and encouraged other victims of sexual assault to contact the police.
