Oscar winning filmmaker Alex Gibney has premiered a documentary titled Musk at the Venice Film Festival. The film, which runs between three and four hours, examines the life, business empire, and political influence of the founder of SpaceX and X. The documentary features interviews with people close to the tycoon, including two of the mothers of his children, Justine Wilson and Ashley St. Clair. St. Clair revealed in the film that Musk sent her a message stating they needed to have a legion of children before a civil war. The film explores Musk's business trajectory from Zip2 to Tesla and SpaceX, while also addressing his relationship with political figures such as Joe Biden and Donald Trump. Gibney described Musk as extremely dangerous during a press conference. The documentary also touches upon Musk's childhood in South Africa and his use of government contracts and subsidies to build his companies. Musk declined the filmmaker's request for an interview.
