Brazilian athlete Alison dos Santos won the 400 meters hurdles at the Diamond League final in Brussels, Belgium, on Saturday, September 5. Dos Santos finished the race in 46.70 seconds, securing his third Diamond League championship after previous titles in 2022 and 2024. He entered the event as the world record holder, having set a mark of 45.80 seconds on August 27 in Zurich, Switzerland. German runner Karl Bebendorf finished ninth in the steeplechase with a time of 8:18.63.
