- A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.
Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.
The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.
Every outlet covering this story shares the same political lean; read with that in mind.
Anthropic has launched a new set of tools called Claude for Financial Advisors designed to assist financial services firms with portfolio reviews, client meeting preparation, and post sale follow up. The new offering connects the Claude chatbot to investment analysis and wealth management software from companies including BlackRock, Charles Schwab, Addepar, Envestnet, iCapital, Orion, Wealthbox, Wealth.com, and Zocks. This move follows a similar release from competitor OpenAI, which recently introduced a version of ChatGPT for investment bankers and equity analysts.
As part of this expansion, Anthropic is cooperating with Zocks, a Hungarian American startup based in Budapest and San Francisco. Zocks provides a virtual assistant that automates manual tasks and structures client conversations and documents into searchable data. Through this integration, Claude can access real client data and priorities, which reduces the need for advisors to write detailed prompts. Zocks was ranked fifth on Forbes' 2025 list of hottest Hungarian startups and primarily targets the financial sector due to lower price sensitivity in that market.
The announcement comes as Anthropic prepares for a potential initial public offering. The company has recently faced scrutiny regarding the pace of AI development. CEO Dario Amodei has called for the industry to slow the development of model capabilities due to concerns over misuse, including cyber operations and fraud. While some industry leaders question if current spending is sustainable, reports suggest that slowing development may not harm Anthropic's business since current models are already sufficient for many of its corporate clients.
