According to sources, Nvidia Corp is in talks to serve as an anchor investor with a potential investment of up to US$10 billion. This move would deepen the relationship between the chipmaker and Anthropic, which relies heavily on Nvidia chips to power its Claude AI model. The listing is expected to be completed before the US midterm elections in November. Anthropic reported that its annualized revenue run rate climbed above US$65 billion by the end of July, up from about US$9 billion at the end of last year. The company previously raised US$65 billion in May at a post-money valuation of US$965 billion. Anthropic declined to comment, and Nvidia did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
