This decision follows a recent legislative setback in the Senate regarding the Law of Inviolability of Private Property, where the government was forced to withdraw modifications to the Land Law and the Fire Management Law to secure a partial sanction. The political table, led by Karina Milei, will now serve as a filter to evaluate the parliamentary viability and political costs of initiatives before they are prioritized. Sturzenegger attended the meeting as a guest, marking a shift from his previous dynamic of coordinating reforms directly with President Javier Milei. The meeting also included Chief of Staff Diego Santilli, Economy Minister Luis Caputo, and Senator Patricia Bullrich. Officials stated that the political table will now coordinate the legislative calendar and manage relations with provincial governors. As a first priority under this new system, the government will push a project related to the capital market to allow the issuance of foreign currency negotiable obligations. The administration also indicated that other cabinet ministers will be summoned to future meetings to broaden sectoral participation.
