Argentine Singer L-Gante Indicted Following Raids Over Alleged Armed Threats

Argentine singer Elián Valenzuela, known as L-Gante, has been formally indicted for alleged violation of domicile and threats aggravated by the use of firearms. The charges follow a complaint from a 23 year old woman who claimed she was intimidated into leaving a rented property in General Rodríguez. According to the reports, a man identified as the singer's uncle, nicknamed El Oso, first threatened the woman on behalf of a group called La Mafilia. Subsequently, Valenzuela allegedly arrived at the property with approximately ten people, entered the patio, and used firearms to intimidate the occupants. In a separate instance, one of his companions allegedly displayed a weapon from a vehicle window.

In response to the complaint, the Justice system ordered three raids on properties linked to the musician and his family, including two homes in the Terravista gated community. During these operations, authorities seized three mobile phones and a BMW X5, which investigators believe was used during the incidents. Valenzuela and another 26 year old man, identified as E. J. A. C. were formally notified of the charges. The case is currently under the direction of prosecutor María Florencia Toscano of the UFI No. 10.

This legal action follows a previous conviction in October 2024, where Judge Ignacio Racca sentenced Valenzuela to three years of suspended prison for threats and damage. That case involved multiple episodes between 2021 and 2023, including a dispute with a municipal employee. While he was convicted of threats, he was acquitted of charges regarding the illegal deprivation of liberty. The singer has a documented history of legal issues involving the alleged illegal possession and exhibition of firearms.
