Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.

Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.

The Bayeux Tapestry is now on display at the British Museum in London following a historic loan from France. The embroidery is nearly 1,000 years old and measures approximately 70 meters in length. It depicts the Norman conquest of England and the Battle of Hastings in 1066, specifically the crossing of the English Channel by William the Conqueror to take the throne from Harold. The loan is scheduled to last until July 2027.

Visitors began entering the museum on Thursday, September 10. Due to the high volume of people, the museum has limited the length of stay for guests. Adult tickets are priced at 33 pounds during peak times and 27 pounds during off peak times, with an additional 3.50 pound donation. Peter Ricketts, the special envoy for the UK government, played a key role in securing the loan.
