Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.

Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.

Blizzard Entertainment has announced several major projects for its primary franchises, including the development of Diablo V, a new open world shooter set in the StarCraft universe, and a new experience titled World of Warcraft: Forever. The StarCraft project, which marks a genre shift for the historically real time strategy series, is scheduled for release in the spring of 2030. Diablo V is planned for the spring of 2029 and will feature a premise where the villain has already won and Sanctuary has fallen. World of Warcraft: Forever is set to launch on November 4, 2026, with a beta beginning on September 17. This new experience will coexist with the modern and Classic versions of the game, featuring three new zones and a new race called the celestials.

Additional announcements include a Diablo series coming to Netflix and the release of Diablo IV on the Nintendo Switch 2 on September 15. For the Warcraft franchise, a new campaign for Warcraft III Reforged titled Forgotten Kingdom will be available on September 12. Overwatch will introduce a vampire inspired support hero named Doctrine in season 5, alongside redesigns for Sombra and Roadhog. While a center leaning source focused on the studio's recovery from past scandals and the surprise nature of the announcements, a center right leaning source provided a detailed breakdown of release dates and specific gameplay additions across the various titles.
