Brazilians Report German National for Human Trafficking and Exploitation

At least five Brazilian men have reported a German national for human trafficking, forced labor, and sexual violence. The victims allege that the suspect used dating apps such as Romeo, Grindr, and Tinder to recruit them by setting his location to Brazilian cities including Rio de Janeiro, Salvador, Fortaleza, and Natal. According to the reports, the suspect would establish affectionate relationships to obtain intimate photos and personal information, which were later used for blackmail and threats.

The victims claim the suspect facilitated their travel to Germany by providing plane tickets, insurance, and invitation letters to assist with immigration. Once in Germany, the men allege they were forced to work without pay at the suspect's industrial establishment and were subjected to physical, sexual, and psychological abuse. One victim, Fernando, 34, reported being forced into non consensual sexual acts and surviving an attempted homicide before escaping with the help of neighbors and the police.

Delaine Kühn, a Brazilian lawyer in Germany, stated that she has represented a client in a criminal case involving rape and bodily injury since 2021 and has been contacted by more than five other people seeking help. In messages sent to Fernando, the suspect allegedly claimed to have a cemetery of people he had killed in his garden. Both reports indicate that these activities have been occurring for at least eight years.
