Lean is where the outlet sits in its OWN country's politics, never on one global scale.

Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.

Caixa Econômica Federal will pay R$ 13.042 billion in profit from the Length of Service Guarantee Fund (FGTS) this Friday, December 31. The payments will be deposited into the accounts of 138.2 million workers who held balances in December 2025.

The distribution represents 89 percent of the R$ 14.7 billion profit earned by the FGTS last year. This was authorized by a resolution published in the Official Gazette of the Union on Thursday, December 30. The correction rate for accounts will be 6.90 percent, which is 2.53 percent above the inflation measured by the IPCA index in 2025.

Workers will receive R$ 1.87 in profit for every R$ 100 in their account, based on an applied index of 0.01868341. For example, a worker with R$ 1,000 would receive R$ 18.68. Once credited, the transaction will appear in FGTS statements as "AC CRED DIST RESULTADO ANO BASE 12/2025".

FGTS funds are restricted to specific legal uses, including retirement, unfair dismissal, or purchasing and amortizing home financing debts. Financial planner Diego Endrigo suggests that using these funds to amortize housing debt is often beneficial because FGTS returns typically fall below the interest rates of most current home loans.
