Pressure is mounting for the Brazilian Supreme Federal Court (STF) to lift secrecy on several high profile investigations before the upcoming elections. The debate intensified after Minister André Mendonça made public messages between Minister Alexandre de Moraes and former banker Daniel Vorcaro. Following these revelations, presidential candidate and former Governor of Goiás Ronaldo Caiado called for Minister Moraes to step down from the STF to prepare his defense, stating that the revelations have caused a grave crisis within the institution.
