Ceuta Authorities and Aid Groups Report Humanitarian Crisis Following Mass Migration Surge

The Spanish enclave of Ceuta is facing a severe humanitarian crisis following a massive influx of migrants from Morocco. Local officials and aid organizations report that thousands of people remain in irregular situations, with estimates ranging from 6,000 to 11,000 individuals wandering the streets, beaches, and nearby mountains. The city's reception system is overwhelmed, particularly regarding unaccompanied minors. While the regional government estimates over 1,100 minors are present, some neighborhood associations suggest the number is twice as high.
